Nuffield Health, a healthcare charity, is driven by its purpose to build a healthier nation and our experts have been working together for more than 65 years to make the nation fitter, healthier, happier and stronger.
Nuffield Health believes that the best healthcare should help prevent illness by looking after mind and body. That’s why its connected healthcare approach spans hospital, physical and mental health including free community programmes such as the Joint Pain Programme, which utilises fitness and wellbeing centres across the UK to help more people better manage their pain and symptoms.
Nurses and nursing care play a key role at Nuffield Health, that’s why the Green Healthcare Leadership Programme for nurses was co-created with the Florence Nightingale Foundation. This programme upskills talented nurses within sustainable healthcare, with a growing number of nurses from the NHS and independent sector taking part each year. Nuffield Health’s Preceptorship Programme supports newly qualified nurses as they transition from student to confident clinician. This has been previously won “Preceptorship Programme of the Year” at the Nursing Times Awards.
