London South Bank University (LSBU) has been transforming lives, communities, and businesses for over 120 years. The School of Nursing and Midwifery at the Institute for Health and Social Care is a leading part of LSBU’s structure and has a network of health professionals including the Peoples Academy (service users) for providing high quality education, training and research that makes a difference. With three campuses, Southwark, Croydon South London and Havering, East London, the School is proud of its state of the art facilities which include interactive skills laboratories with the most recent simulation technology. To integrate our strengths in health-related research, we established a single research centre, the Centre for Applied Research in Improvement and Innovation (CApRII) which comprises 4 research groups. The Institute of Health and Social Care has partnerships with a number of leading organisations that deliver health and social care services throughout London and the South East of England. The School of Nursing and Midwifery is unique in that it delivers education and training for all healthcare staff from Agenda for Change Band 2 upwards, and throughout the academic levels, including apprenticeships, standalone modules and degree pathway courses. We are one of the largest CPD providers in the UK.
