Eileen Hackman has over 20 years’ of experience as a Nurse. During her time within the NHS, she has worked in many specialists’ areas including: - Critical Care, Acute Medicine, Burns and Plastic Surgery, Palliative Care, Research, Acute & Chronic Pain Management, Oncology and Complementary Therapy. Eileen lived in Sydney Australia, for 4 years working as a Sister, in St George Hospital. It was here she sparked a special interest in Complementary therapies, training in Reiki. Since then, she has trained in Acupuncture, Hypnotherapy, Massage, and is currently doing a L3 Aromatherapy Diploma. Eileen returned to the UK, to work at The Christie NHS foundation Trust, where she has worked for the last 16 years. Eileen has held many nursing and leadership roles, during this time but is currently the Clinical Lead for the Complementary Health & Wellbeing service. Eileen completed Masters getting a distinction for her thesis, which looked at acupuncture for chronic cancer pain. Eileen has a passion and vision to use integrative medicine to provide comfort, build resilience, and empower all service users, through innovation, collaboration, education, and research.
