Richard is the Clinical Director of NHS Practitioner health, and the Clinical lead for the Dentists' Health Support Trust. He's helped design and expand services specifically for regulated health professionals that face barriers to accessing mental health and addiction services because of their roles. He originally trained as a mental health nurse then latterly as a cognitive behaviour therapist, and was awarded the Nursing Times 'Leader of the Year' award in 2023.
