I have been working as a midwife for the last 8 years and have worked in a variety of settings. Currently, I specialise in bereavement and HDU care which I love and find very rewarding. I am currently working towards a qualification in obstetric medicine and am developing a complementary therapies clinic at my local trust to try and reduce induction of labour rates. I look forward to assessing the next midwife of the year and seeing what they have brought to the midwifery world over the last year!
