I am a registered nurse, employed as Clinical Lead for the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay Bladder and Bowel Service. As an expert clinician, I manage a team of specialist nurses, ensuring assessment and treatment for patients presenting with bothersome bladder and bowel symptomsI work collaboratively across the Integrated Care Board footprint to ensure seamless clinical policies/ pathways/formulary which can optimise care provision for patients. I am a member of the Bladder Interest Group Faculty (BLIG), and I am Chair of the Executive Committee for the Association for Continence Professionals (ACP), and I represent on the All Party Parliamentary Group for Continence care (APPG). I currently judge the Nursing Times and British Journal of Nursing annual awards, for the Continence Care Categories.
