Alison McCourt joined Nuffield Health in August 2022 as its Clinical Services Director, providing leadership to clinical teams across the charity’s hospitals, fitness and wellbeing centres, healthcare clinics, and workplace wellbeing services. Alison had a distinguished career in the British Army (joining as a nurse in 1988) and as part of the senior NHS England and Improvement team responding to the COVID pandemic, her achievements include being awarded an OBE for her role to combat the Ebola crisis in October 2014 in Sierra Leone; being appointed as Chief Nursing Officer in the British Army 2018; and achieving a CBE for her leadership of military nursing.
