Fahida Rehman-Manby is a dedicated and experienced nurse leader with a career spanning over 15 years in the NHS. As a Lead Head and Neck Cancer Clinical Nurse Specialist, she supported patients with complex needs, often addressing barriers linked to health inequalities. Fahida's passion for equity in healthcare has led to her involvement in several initiatives, including serving as a clinical advisor for the Macmillan Torbay Equity Project and Peninsula Cancer Alliance, where she championed strategies to reduce disparities in cancer care. Currently, as a People Promise Manager, Fahida focuses on improving workforce engagement, retention, and well-being, embedding inclusive leadership and compassionate care into daily practice. A recipient of the Chief Nursing Officer's Silver Award for her work in addressing inequalities, she is committed to creating positive change for both staff and patients. Fahida brings her clinical insight and passion for equity to her role as a Nursing Times Awards judge.
