
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Jesca Gudza trained as a General Nurse in the UK. She worked in a surgical ward for five years before transitioning to Accident & Emergency for another five years. She later earned a degree in School Nursing and spent 12 years supporting Looked After Children in safeguarding roles.
Jesca then became a Safeguarding Perinatal Lead, supporting mothers with mental health challenges, before moving into Project Development Nursing, facilitating staff training across three NHS Trusts. Currently, she is a Team Manager for Neurodiversity and Learning Difficulties.
Passionate about international healthcare workers, she founded an association supporting internationally recruited staff, backed by NHS England. Her dedication to staff well-being earned her a role as an assessor for the Pastoral Care Award. Jesca was awarded a Rising Star Award in 2021.
