I have been a nurse for 24 years. I have multi-speciality experience; initially started as a staff nurse in ITU,respiratory and Acute Medical ward, and progressed my way to a Band 6 nurse Out-Of-Hours practitioner, followed by a Band 7 senior nurse, and acting matron for 6 months, prior to completing my Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice. I have been working last 5 years as an ANP (Band 8a) in a Surgical SDEC unit. I'm dedicated and resourceful and at the same time, positive and friendly to my patients. My focus is and has been to provide quality patient care and patient safety. I have used the best of my ability towards efficient diagnosis and treatment, effective patient flow, time management, nursing care, effective communication and documentation, and Infection control. I work effectively around the 4 pillars of advanced practice, which involves clinical practice, leadership and management, education and research.
