Carole Fry is currently the lead nurse for infection prevention and control at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust. She has extensive experience on infection prevention and control, reducing healthcare-associated infection and antimicrobial stewardship at a local and national level, having worked at both the Department of Health (England) and Public Health England (PHE). Carole’s roles at PHE included being the strategic lead for antimicrobial resistance and the deputy director for the High Consequence Infectious Disease Programme.
