Helen started her RMN training in 1983 at Friern Hospital in London.
She went on to specialise in mental health rehabilitation and over the course of her career has worked in a wide range of settings including forensic and community.
Helen was a Chief Nurse for over fifteen years before taking up her current role as Chief Executive in the Kent and Medway Partnership Trust five years ago.
She is a proud registrant who continues to regularly work directly with service users and their loved ones. She remains passionate about the privilege of being a nurse and was delighted to be invited join this year’s Nursing Times judging panel.
