Liz has been a District Nurse for over 30 years and manages a team in North East London. She has a BSc in palliative care nursing and a specialist practitioner teaching qualification.
A Queen’s nurse since 2010, Liz has hosted shadowing visits by policy makers, has been on radio 4 and is the subject of many articles promoting District Nursing. She has contributed to a variety of working parties and to DoH publications.
She has received the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother’s award and a British Empire medal in recognition of her commitment to, and provision of, outstanding community nursing.
