Romanie is a Hepatology CNS committed to the eradication of Hepatits C. Romanie currently works at the Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, working predominantly in the community with the homeless population and alongside drug treatment services to bring care to point of access.
In 2020, Romanie won the Nursing Times Awards for the Nursing in the Community category. The win highlighted exceptional work on an innovative outreach project to screen and treat the local homeless community for hepatitis C and liver damage.
