Derbyshire Community Health Services FT
Lisa qualified as RGN at Hastings in 1993 working in cardiology and general medicine. In 1999 she worked in County Durham on medical admissions and then moved into the Community as a practice nurse completing a higher diploma in health and social care. In 2004 I moved to Derbyshire spending 10 years as a school nurse with a large child protection caseload, supporting young people with a variety of issues and providing contraception and sexual health services in local clinics and schools. In 2015 she was part of a small team, which set up a new School Age Immunisation Service in Derbyshire and have received local and national awards in recognition of our teamwork and commitment to ensuring that all children have access to vaccinations. She is the Quality and Safe Care Champion for Patient Experience and Dignity and led her team to receive the Derbyshire Dignity Award last year.
