I currently work with the Newcastle Paediatric Diabetes service and Adult service as part of the NHS England pilot to improve diabetes transition for young people. I was previously a Diabetes Specialist nurse and have had a passion for improving the care and experience of those living with diabetes in the north east since my first nursing post in 2015. I am very proud to have won the Kings ward for integrated care and am very greatful for the opportunity to judge the 2025 submissions.
